Lunch times
We sit down for lunch between 12pm – 1pm every day together.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide lunch on-site for children as we do not have the relevant facilities. If your child is booked in to stay for lunch, then please provide them with a packed lunch in a wipe-clean lunchbox.
The children will have access to water all day and we provide a morning and afternoon snack with milk or water.
We are fully inclusive and experienced with children with dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances. Please do speak to a member of the team if you are concerned at all.

Funding
We accept funding from both the English and Welsh governments for up to 30 hours per week. Funding applies to hours between 9.00am and 3.30pm, week days during Gloucestershire school term times. Most of our children receive funding of some kind, and that pays part or all of their fees, depending on how many hours they're entitled to. If your child attends another setting in addition to our pre-school, it is possible to split the funding between the two settings. Unlike many other settings, we do not place any restrictions on how you use your funding.
If you have any questions regarding funding, please email [email protected] and Sue, our financial administrator, will be happy to help.

Wrap-around and Holiday Care
We understand that, for some families, our opening hours may be restrictive. As a Pre-School in the truest sense of the word - to prepare children for school - our opening hours are in line with school hours, but we realise that for our working families, this may not provide enough care.
Following a consultation with our families, we have partnered with Mandy & Michelle, a trusted and experienced mother-daughter childminding service based less than 5 minutes (on foot, at a 3-year-old's pace!) from Pre-School. They’re open from 7am to 6pm, providing breakfast, lunch (if children are there during the day) and a cooked tea, and can drop children at Pre-School and collect them at the end of their session. They also operate during school holidays, where hours can be extended.
Mandy & Michelle have looked after Pre-School children for a number of years and we have a good working relationship with them. If this is something that may help your family, please contact them directly on 01291 630194 or 07717 721713, or by emailing [email protected].
